Welcome to RGA Speak-Up. Success in the financial services industry is dependent upon a company's reputation for integrity.
As a result, each of us must take personal responsibility for conducting all of our business endeavors with honesty, candor, sincerity, and fairness, consistent with RGA's core values in support of protecting and enhancing RGA's reputation. RGA adheres to the highest ethical standards in all of its business dealings. This requires that the Company's business be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and with the highest standards of business ethics. RGA as a global company must be sensitive to the cultures and customs of the countries where it operates and respect the communities and environments where it does business. The success of the Company's business depends on the reputation of the Company and its Workforce Members for integrity and ethical business conduct. Improper activities could harm the Company's reputation for integrity or otherwise result in adverse consequences.
Speaking up or Whistleblowing is making others aware that you believe the company, its management, or its employees are acting improperly in respect of the laws or regulations in the countries in which RGA operates.
To access the Speak-Up Hotline, visit http://bit.ly/RGASpeakUp. Confidential reports can be made online or by phone, 24 hours a day. Our Code of Conduct establishes these internal mechanisms for reporting concerns and reinforces every workforce member’s right to Speak Up, including Non-RGA staff, if we suspect or identify wrongdoing or unethical behavior.
If RGA receives a Whistleblowing or Protected Disclosure alert that falls within scope of the EU Whistleblowing Directive, RGA will acknowledge receipt of the alert to the reporting person within 5 to 7 working days of that receipt. RGA will also provide feedback, and actions taken or envisaged to be taken to the reporting person within three months of receiving the report.
RGA has established a Speak-Up Policy to provide a safe mechanism for reporting and investigating suspected violations of law, rule, regulation, internal policy, or the Code of Conduct across Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated and all of its subsidiaries and affiliates (“RGA”).
The Speak-Up Policy aims to ensure all Workforce Members and External Persons dealing with RGA feel supported in speaking up and reporting matters they suspect may involve improper, unethical, or inappropriate conduct;
