Wilfred Tung is Vice President, Head of R&D and Product Development, for RGA Asia Pacific. He has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, and has been involved in the research and development of many successful products, including critical illness and cancer reimbursement products.
Wilfred joined RGA in 2009 as regional pricing actuary. He has also served as Chief Pricing Actuary, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, where he leveraged external and internal data to solve business problems, set pricing assumptions, and create new products and solutions. Before joining RGA, Wilfred served as an actuarial analyst and insurance actuarial for National Australia Bank.
Wilfred received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
