Ryan Barker is Vice President, IT Finance & Investment Solutions, RGA. Prior to his current role, Ryan served as Senior Project Manager of the Data and Analytics team for RGAX, the wholly-owned innovation incubator subsidiary of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated. There he specialized in project management, reinsurance operations, process improvement, business architecture and analysis.
Ryan joined RGA in 2004 and held several positions of increasing responsibility as a Business Analyst and a Project Manager, culminating in Project Manager and Business Operations Architect for RGA’s Target Operating Model Initiative (TOM). Ryan was integral in developing the strategy, business case and roadmap for TOM, and then implementing many of the program’s stages in close coordination with IT.
Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) from Washington University in St. Louis, with a major in finance and international business and a minor in Spanish. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
