Katarzyna Kania

Katarzyna Kania is Chief Underwriter and Claims Manager for RGA International Reinsurance Company dac Poland Branch Office. She is responsible for supporting RGA clients from Central and Eastern Europe market countries in the underwriting of complex cases, product design and claims handling. 

Kasia has nearly two decades of insurance and reinsurance underwriting experience. Before arriving at RGA in 2011, she ran her own consulting business. Prior to then, she spent 10 years as a senior underwriting consultant in Swiss Re’s Warsaw office, until its 2009 closure. She started her career with Commercial Union (now Aviva), where she held several positions in underwriting and risk management. 

Kasia is a Member of the Board of Polish Association of Underwriters.
