Jaqui Wassenaar is Vice President, Digital Distribution, Ventures and Partnerships. Based in Amsterdam, Jaqui is responsible for establishing new distribution pathways that unlock new markets and contribute to growth. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President, Market Development Director, EMEA, where she led strategic development of solutions for underserved markets in EMEA.
Jaqui also held a market development position with RGA EMEA and, before that, served as Chief Marketing Officer for RGA Japan in Tokyo, where she was responsible for leading the business development and marketing strategy with a team of business developers and marketers. Before that, Jaqui spent more than seven years in Cape Town as a Client Solutions Actuary for RGA South Africa.
Jaqui received a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in actuarial science from the University of Stellenbosch, and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). She is currently a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
