Jennifer Thoreson is a Director, Underwriting for RGA Reinsurance Company. She responsible for day-to-day facultative underwriting as well as for the development and ongoing maintenance of RGA’s Prescription Drug database. She is also a member of the ASAP call desk team, and of the Underwriting Manual Review Committee.
Before coming to RGA in 2004, Jennifer was a Senior Underwriter with General American Life Insurance Co., and an Underwriter for Paragon Life Insurance. She also was a life underwriter for Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company, and a health underwriter for National Casualty Company.
Jennifer’s two years of clinical experience were gained at St. Mary’s Hospital in Clayton, Missouri, after earning her Diploma R.N. from the Lutheran School of Nursing. Her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Science is from South Dakota State University, and she is an Associate of the Academy of Life Underwriting (AALU).
