As Executive Director, Underwriting, Dr. Dipali Jawalkar is responsible for product underwriting for the Hong Kong and High Net Worth markets. She joined RGA Hong Kong in 2015 after having served as Chief Medical Officer for RGA Services India Private Limited.
Dipali has more than 15 years’ experience in life and health reinsurance and insurance for various markets in Asia, spanning management, technical underwriting, product development, and claims. Her expertise lies in fostering business by building innovative underwriting solutions, utilization of data analytics and behavioral science, simplification of processes, and driving deeper engagement with clients. Prior to joining RGA, Dipali worked for another international reinsurer and an international insurer in India.
Dipali received a Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) degree from Pune University, and a Masters in Hospital and Health Administration (M.H.A.) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
