David Song

David has been with RGA Korea since 2019. He has over 30 years of experience in insurance industry spanning from US to Korea. He has held various positions as an actuary in several leading US companies like Prudential and Merrill Lynch Insurance where he held lead valuations roles. In Korea, he held executive positions at Samsung Life Insurance in product development and in international business divisions.

He has diverse experience in product development, IFRS 17, K-ICS regimes in Korea, as well as working knowledge in US Statutory & GAAP accounting.

He has received BS in Applied Mathematics and Industrial Management from Carnegie-Mellon University, and he is a fellow from the Society of Actuaries.
