Carolyn Pritchard, Head of Underwriting Latin America, is responsible for underwriting development for RGA's clients and partners. In addition, Carolyn creates and develops underwriting best practices and provides technical expertise to underwriters in complex, unusual, and international high-net-worth cases. Carolyn joined RGA in 2019 and joined the Latin America office in 2024.
Carolyn, a highly experienced insurance and underwriting professional, was previously Head of Life & Health Underwriting and Claims, Head of Underwriting, S.E.A. for another reinsurer, based in Singapore. In that role, Carolyn had primary responsibility for all aspects of life and health technical underwriting for the Southeast Asia region. Prior to that, Carolyn served as Vice President and Chief Underwriter at Manulife Financial, working as a Principal Underwriter. She is a member of the Academy of Life Underwriters (FALU) and a member of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
