As a Managing Director and member of the Private Debt and Equity Investment Committee, Brett Parr is responsible for originating, evaluating, and structuring direct lending (unitranche, second lien, mezzanine) and equity co-investment opportunities as well as fund investments.
Prior to joining RGA in April 2017, Brett spent a decade at Capital For Business, Inc. (a subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares, Inc.), managing a portfolio of subordinated debt and equity investments in the lower middle market. Prior to CFB, he began his career in the Leverage Finance Group at U.S. Bank, managing direct lending relationships with private equity sponsors.
Brett received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. He is also a tenured member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA).
