In his role as Vice President, Global Actuarial Pricing and Research, Andrew Gaskell leads projects assessing areas of new risk in pricing such as genetic testing, COVID-19, and morbidity trends. He also works with RGA’s local, regional, and global subject matter experts to assess pricing risk and develop new insurance products for clients. Additionally, Andrew serves as the lead risk officer for morbidity risk and is a member of the Insurance Risk Committee.
Andrew started with RGA in 2004 as the Chief Pricing Actuary, Korea before roles as the Head of Product Pricing, Asia, and Senior Actuary, Global Products.
Prior to joining RGA, Andrew worked for the actuarial consulting firm of Trowbridge Deloitte and was based in Sydney. Andrew began his actuarial career at Watson Wyatt Partners in the U.K. He has more than 20 years of actuarial experience, primarily in consulting and pricing.
Andrew received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from City University Business School in London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA), U.K.
