Scott Rushing has more than 25 years of industry experience and is currently the Head of Risk & Behavioral Science for RGA’s Global Data and Analytics team. He leads a global group of advanced-analytics actuaries, behavioral scientists, and data scientists to develop data-driven solutions and insights tied to risk assessment, pricing, distribution, and in-force management. Scott’s prior roles include Head of Global Research, Head of Predictive Analytics, Head of U.S. Experience Studies, as well as roles in Pricing and Product Development.
Scott is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and has published research on numerous topics such as credit scores, prescription histories, motor vehicle records, seasonality, post-level term, artificial intelligence, medical advances, and more.
Scott received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in actuarial science from Drake University, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in statistics from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
